NEW product lines from FAULHABER:

Planetary Gearheads with increased output stage (Series 22EKV)

Featuring a geartrain made of ceramic and steel components, the new plastic gearhead of the 22EKV series is extremely resilient and shock-resistant, despite its lightweight construction. Designed with two to six stages, the new Planetary Gearheads deliver continuous torques of up to 1.2 Nm in 20 finely graduated reduction ratios.

Integrated Magnetic Encoders with 1024 pulses (Series IE2-1024)

Thanks to new chip technology, the proven Magnetic Incremental Encoders in the IE2 series are now also available with a resolution of 1024 pulses. The systems integrated in the motor extend the drive by just 1.4 mm, ideal for applications with a small installation space.

Brushless DC-Servomotors - 4 Pole Technology with analog Hall sensors (Series 3242/3268 BX4, option 3692)

The high-power BX4 series brushless DC-Servomotors 4-pole technology are now also available with analog Hall sensors, which improves the functionality with commutation, positioning and speed control.

The World’s Smallest Brushless DC Servomotor with Integrated Motion Controller

A new 22mm innovation extends the portfolio of four pole brushless DC servomotors

FAULHABER has extended its BX4 range of four pole Brushless DC Servomotors with the introduction of the series 2232 / 2250…BX4 CSD/CCD, the world’s most compact drive with integrated motion controller. This new series combines all the advantages of the BX4 four pole brushless technology with a single axis motion controller. High reliability, high torque, compact slotless design with no cogging torque, and robust construction without the use of adhesives make this new series ideal for complex areas of application like robotics, automation, medical and laboratory technology, specialty machinery and aerospace.
The drives are based on the flexible and easy to use FAULHABER motion control platform. The compact motion controller, which fits within the diameter of the motor, combined with the motor and a full range of gearhead combinations provides a versatile modular platform for a variety of applications. The drives are available with a RS-232 serial or CAN interface. Configuring the drives is simple using the free FAULHABER Motion Manager 4.4 software. The drives have a wide operational temperature range from -25°C to 85°C a provide a continuous current up to 0,69 A with a peak of up to 3A. The speed can be precisely controlled from down to 5 rpm and up to 8000 rpm. Custom firmware and software are available on request. All of the drives have factory preset current limits to protect the motor and electronics during normal operation. Upon request the drives can be supplied with separate motor and electronics voltage supply connections.

L-Tech Expands to Welcome Leaders in Fastener Technology

Lewenstein Technologies Ltd. (L-Tech) is pleased to announce its expansion into the field of fastener technology by welcoming two new members into the diverse group of companies we represent in Israel.

As of December 2010, the fasteners and rivets producers Emhart Teknologies (USA) and Bollhoff GmbH (Germany) are providing their high-quality products as part of L-Tech's advanced engineering solutions. As always, our decision to transfer these activities in the fasteners sector from the Menachem Lewenstein Company to L-Tech was made with our customers in mind. By expanding into this new area, we are better able to provide our customers with a richer, more complete menu of products and services.
