The Tripod Actuator (TrAC) by Cedrat Technologies is a 3 degrees of
freedom mechanism (2 rotations and 1 translation).
The TraC is fitted with 3 Stepping Piezo Actuators which allow a subnanometer
resolution and able to hold in position without power supply,
a sample, a probe or a mirror for example.
